By accessing or using SetHue (https://sethue.com), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or online tools.
2. Palette License & Commercial Use (Free Forever)
SetHue is designed to support creators, frontend developers, agencies, and businesses:
- Free Commercial & Personal Use: All color palettes, hex codes, RGB/HSL values, CSS gradient code, and Tailwind configuration snippets generated or curated on SetHue are completely free to use in personal, open-source, client, and commercial projects.
- No Mandatory Attribution: While backlinks or mentions are always appreciated, you are not legally required to credit SetHue when using palettes or generated design tokens in your products, websites, or apps.
- Restrictions on Bulk Scraping: You may not systematically mirror or scrape SetHue’s entire database to create a direct competing clone site without prior written permission.
3. Use of Interactive Tools
Our flagship tools—including the Spacebar Generator, HEX Color Picker, Image Color Picker, CSS Gradient Maker, and WCAG Contrast Checker—operate directly in your web browser. You agree not to abuse or attempt to overload our hosting infrastructure through automated denial-of-service attempts.
4. Intellectual Property
The SetHue name, branding, logo, interface design, algorithms, editorial guides, and source code are the proprietary intellectual property of SetHue. Individual colors and hex codes themselves are non-copyrightable mathematical representations in the public domain.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
SetHue is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While we rigorously test our WCAG 2.1 contrast calculations and color conversion algorithms for mathematical accuracy, we do not guarantee that every color will render identically across every physical display, monitor panel, or print medium.
6. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall SetHue or its team be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our tools, website, or color assets.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated timestamp. Continued use of SetHue constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
